1. Introduction
Welcome to Discovia ("we", "our", or "the Platform"). Discovia is an AI-powered travel and mobility marketplace operated by Discovia Lda., a company registered in Portugal under number PT-509 823 411, with registered office in Lisbon, Portugal.
By accessing or using our platform — including our website, mobile applications, or any related services — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use Discovia.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Discovia. We encourage you to read them carefully.
2. Definitions
- "Platform" means the Discovia website, mobile app, and all related digital services.
- "User" or "Customer" means any person who registers or uses the Platform.
- "Partner" means a third-party provider of services listed on Discovia, including fleet owners, drivers, tour guides, and hotel partners.
- "Service" means any product or booking offered through the Platform, including car rental, ride-share, airport transfer, tours, hotels, and flights.
- "Booking" means a confirmed reservation made through the Platform.
3. Platform Services
Discovia provides a digital marketplace enabling users to discover, compare, and book mobility and travel services from vetted partners across Portugal and Europe. The Platform includes:
- Car rental and vehicle booking
- Ride-share, TukTuk, and airport transfer services
- Tour and experience bookings
- Hotel and accommodation reservations
- Flight search powered by partner APIs
- AI-assisted travel planning
- Membership and subscription services
4. User Accounts
To access most features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
You may not transfer your account to another person. Discovia reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Bookings & Payments
All prices displayed on the Platform are in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated. Prices include applicable VAT where required by Portuguese law.
Payment must be completed at the time of booking unless otherwise indicated. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Payment is processed by certified third-party gateways compliant with PCI-DSS standards.
Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of payment confirmation and a confirmation email from Discovia.
6. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation policies vary by service type and partner. The specific policy applicable to your booking is displayed at the time of reservation and included in your booking confirmation.
- Free cancellation: Many services offer free cancellation up to 24–48 hours before the service start time.
- Partial refund: Some services allow cancellation with a partial refund within a specified window.
- Non-refundable: Certain special rates or last-minute bookings may be non-refundable.

7. Partner Terms
Partners on the Discovia platform agree to maintain accurate listings, fulfil confirmed bookings, and adhere to Discovia's quality standards and code of conduct.
Discovia reserves the right to remove any partner from the platform for violations of partner terms, poor service quality, fraudulent activity, or customer complaints above threshold levels.
8. Data Protection (GDPR)

Discovia processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese data protection law. 9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Discovia's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the booking giving rise to the claim. Discovia shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with Portuguese law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon, Portugal, unless consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise.
